Get Social 2017
Get Social is a free mini-conference on social media and social media marketing. This event is hosted by DCU Business School, The Ryan Academy, IC4 and DCU Alpha and will take place on Valentine’s day, the 14th of February in the Helix (DCU Glasnevin campus) from 2pm – 6pm.
"Get Social" is an annual event and it's aim is to raise knowledge of the role social media can play in business. Each year, the conference features presentations from a host of marketing and social media experts and offers attendees the opportunity to understand the benefits of integrating social media into their marketing campaigns.
This year we have seven fantastic speakers to look forward to, all of whom have a wealth of knowledge and experience managing the digital and social efforts of both Irish and international companies. Get Social therefore offers a unique opportunity to gain an insight into how some of the top brands are using social media and to learn from the experts, how to extract greater value from your social channels.
Speakers on the day include:
- Paul Hayes (MD, Beachhut PR)
- Matthew Weil (Head of Product,
- Anne Marie Boyhan (Head of Social, Bank of Ireland)
- Aisling Tobin (Jameson Brand Manager, Pernod Ricard)
- Hugh Curran (Digital Transformation Consultant)
- Paul Berney (MD, mCordis)
- Eric Weaver (VP Communication & Marketing Solutions, Xerox)
The event will begin at 14:00, followed by a short break at approximatly 15:40 and will finish at 18:00. The conference programme and speaker times are available here. > Programme
